The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.

Carl Jung

I'm Sameer. I love building — it's what I spend most of my time doing, at work and everywhere else.

Not really for the résumé line, more because I get an itch to understand something and the only way I actually get there is by taking it apart and putting it back together myself.

That's how I ended up rewriting git's internals just to see what's really inside a .git folder, and getting Doom running on a microcontroller with no operating system, mostly because it seemed like it shouldn't be possible on that little flash.

Day to day I'm a software engineer — currently at Hul Hub, before that Focus Labs and Asani.io, and freelancing on the side since 2023. Before that I was at 10Pearls.

Outside of work hours I'm usually deep in some side project — you can see what I've built. I keep my mind sharp with LeetCode (past 420 problems now) and spend a fair bit of free time in other people's code — find me on GitHub.

I read more than I write, though I'm slowly closing that gap — my attempts live here. I also like snooping through other people's bookshelves, so here's mine.

And if you're here because you're hiring — here's my résumé.

Thanks for stopping by.
